Coming Up: Riksbanken Meeting, German and French Inflation and Ukrainian Elections

Stockholm (Ekonamik) – Following the Fed meeting last week, FOMC members will be doing the rounds to provide some colour on the decision. On the heels of last week’s central bank meetings in the USA, UK, Norway and Indonesia, the Executive Board of the Riksbanken, in Sweden, will also meet.

Datawise, the week will begin with the publication of leading indicators in the USA by the Chicago and by the Dallas Fed. Initial inflation and unemployment figures for March will start being published for France and Germany at the end of the week.

On the background of all these events, all hell will break loose this week in London as the British government races to push Parliament to agree on a deal before the new deadline of April 12.

Finally, on Sunday, Ukraine will hold presidential elections, while in the Arab League will meet in Tunisia and discuss the readmittance of Syria, whose membership has been frozen since 2011.
